Machine Support Services was formed in 1991 by Mike Colton with the intention of supplying technical support to industrial users of AC & DC drive systems. With over 20 years experience in CNC machine tool fault finding & repair it soon became apparent that the wider market of industrial machine repair was lacking someone with my unique experience. Very close links with various leading machine tool manufacturers and their agents has seen continued growth in the last 15 years, the company now employs 4 staff, with other trusted contractors and specialists as brought in as required. In 2002 we undertook the spares and service agency for the former Norwich firm of Beaver Machine tools, sadly no longer manufacturing new machines. Consumable and common spares have been re-sourced and in some cases re-manufactured to the original designs and drawings, we now hold stock of over 10,000 different parts for the Beaver CNC range of machines. We keep in stock, brushes, bearings, ballscrews, encoders, fans, switches, servo drives, servo motors, solenoid valves, linear scales, belts, seals, pumps, lube PDU's, lube tanks, bellville springs, in fact more than we have space to list, if we do not have what you need we can usually source the part from specialist suppliers. We are "type approved" suppliers and repairers of spindle drive circuit boards to Hardinge Bridgeport and enjoy a close working relationship. We have been accredited to ISO 2001/2 We are also approved suppliers and integrators of Sprint Drive products.
